1. Tell Council that you support long term planning for City Stables. Continue to write, e-mail and phone.
With the stable assured a future of only 6 months to a year, there is still much to be done. MEPS will continue to advocate for long term planning for the facility. We want the facility to be restored and renovated and returned to full use as a riding, teaching, training and boarding stable with diverse outreach programs for the public including programs for inner city and at risk youth.

Sign up NOW to help. As the MEPS City Stables Project gets off the ground, there will be many, many opportunities to help, have fun, meet friends, and make a positive difference in revitalizing this wonderful public resource

4. Sign Up to Stay Informed
MEPS will keep you informed about the ongoing efforts to save, rehabilitate,and reopen the stable. And... MEPs will provide you with updates on the programs planned for the site, and other ways that you can support the MEPS City Stables Project.

5. Help launch and deliver MEPS programs
Pledges to the Program Fund will be used to help deliver quality public programs. They may also serve to underwrite low, or no cost programs for Oakland youth who qualify. Be sure to specify "programs only" on your pledge/donation.
